The structure of our workshops is designed to draw young people into debate and put the spotlight on their own opinions before addressing the legal framework. We include material on victim awareness, bystander intervention, appropriate responses to victim disclosure and identifying and expressing consent or non-consent.

The content of each workshop will vary slightly depending on the age group and Special Educational Needs of each class or youth group.

We use a Powerpoint presentation and a selection of games and exercises to bring the content to life.

Key learning points

All workshops have five key learning points:

  • What is consent?
  • What is the personal impact of a sexual offence?
  • What are the legal consequences of sexual offending?
  • How do we reduce the risk of sexually harmful behaviour?
  • What are the steps to take should this happen to you or someone you know?
